H&R Technology Inc. (HRT) is the developer and owner of the innovative and proprietary Precision Metal Deposition (PMD™) process. PMD™ process is a core technology employed for the production of laser-based automated PMD™ Digital Manufacturing systems, used for restoration & improvement of strength, wear and corrosion resistance of metal parts.

HRT has recently developed a new capability for a solid-state coating of highly dissimilar metals - LaserForge™, utilizing its PMD™ laser metal deposition technology. Solid-state welding methods allow for strong metallurgical bond between materials of dissimilar physical characteristics and without liquefaction of the substrate. LaserForge™ solid-state coating with high strength alloys transforms a metal part into a stronger metal-composite part integral with a surface of customized mechanical and physical characteristics. This allows for the improvement of weight, strength, wear and corrosion resistance of manufactured parts. (patent pending)
